Great interview with Russell and Ger. Russell mentioned that his first international rally was the 1968 RAC. My brother David Brookes(No relation) started rally at No. 1 in a Ford Cortina V6. he was first away due to biggest engine. Thanks.

Rest in peace my hero. Just look at the stage times Russel was doing in what i believe was the 86 Ulster Rally! He was equalling the 6r4 and rs200 times! How he managed to do that is just beyond me! Unbelievable!

How do you like the RX8 as a rally chassis? They're getting super cheap and their 'unreliable' stigma seems like it'd make them easy to pick up for a not street driven racing chassis.
